Conversations with Pam (CWP) is an open Q&A-style discussion offered twice per month as a benefit to members of Wellness Forum Health, and hosted by Dr. Pam Popper, an internationally recognized expert on nutrition, medicine, and health.
Seasoned Wellness Forum members casually refer to Dr. Popper as, “Dr. Pam,” or simply, “Pam,” during these informed general discussions about health that are indeed laid-back while simultaneously maintaining a disciplined format. Dr. Pam covers a lot of ground during these sessions, answering questions about anything from colonoscopies and mammograms to green tea and vitamin D. After 90 minutes Pam must say her goodbyes while promising to reconvene in two weeks to continue the conversation. Members graciously sign off, by saying, "Thank you, Dr. Pam," "You're the best, Dr. Pam," or "See you next time!” “We appreciate you!"
CWP has been a consistent, positive space that Wellness Forum members have come to rely upon for years, becoming more than just your average Q&A session. CWP is a virtual community event for the health-minded and curious consumer. It is considered by some Wellness Forum members to be a time for some personal development, selfcare and informed discussion about general health.
CWP is consistent, something to look forward to and after almost three decades of having these bimonthly informed discussions with her members, Pam decided it was finally time to bring these conversations to life by putting them into print. The CWP book series is meant to keep the informed discussions going while sharing them on a larger scale. The Conversations with Pam blog will provide recaps of her bimonthly discussions, as well as frequently asked questions, and relevant information along the way. We hope you enjoy the content as much as Wellness Forum Members have throughout the years. Cheers to getting informed!
Food Over Medicine: The Conversation That Can Save Your Life, is one of Dr. Pam’s most popular, and timeless books, upon which her annual Food Over Medicine (FOM) bootcamp, and her FOM licensing program is based.
The Food Over Medicine conversation has evolved into a sort of cult classic within the health space over the past decade, becoming increasingly more popular and relevant as consumers become more informed about their health.
In 2024, growing enthusiasm for the FOM conversation culminated into the formation of Food Over Medicine Chapters, basically support groups for anyone wanting to learn how to stay out of the medical mill, live independently in their homes until death and practice a health-promoting lifestyle.
Members of these chapters have brought the FOM conversation into their communities by offering support to those wanting to become crazy healthy, who have decided to stop participating in a healthcare system that does not support their health and would like to live a spectacularly healthy life!
